This magnificent Mashad carpet showcases an exquisite central medallion design set against a luxurious deep navy blue field that exemplifies the sophisticated aesthetic of this renowned Persian weaving centre. The composition features a stunning coral-red floral medallion at its heart, intricately detailed with elaborate scrolling arabesques, palmettes, and classical Persian motifs that radiate outward in perfect symmetry.
The rich navy field surrounding the central medallion is densely populated with an all-over pattern of delicate floral sprays, graceful vines, and traditional herati motifs rendered in soft coral, cream, peach, and golden tones that create a sense of elegant movement across the entire surface. The four corner spandrels echo the central medallion with complementary coral-red sections filled with matching floral patterns, creating harmonious visual balance throughout the composition.

NATURAL 100% WOOL OR NATURAL FIBRES
All our Persian rugs and carpets are made with 100% wool from sheep or goats belonging to pastoral nomads who inhabit the Zargos Mountain Range in Iran. The flocks are herded during the spring months to the cooler climates of the high mountain plateaus and valleys, where the grass is abundant and rich in minerals. The fleeces grow thick and produce a lustrous wool, fine in texture and when spun, using many natural dyes, which have a high colour saturation.
