This rare Mamasani tribal Luri Rug from Shiraz features a rich, deep red field using natural dyes that immediately draw the eye. Prominently displayed are three large, stacked diamond medallions, each intricately detailed with a central black and white chequered pattern, framed by crisp white outlines. These commanding central motifs are complemented by an array of smaller, repeating geometric shapes scattered across the red background, creating a captivating sense of depth and tradition.

NATURAL 100% WOOL OR NATURAL FIBRES
All our Persian rugs and carpets are made with 100% wool from sheep or goats belonging to pastoral nomads who inhabit the Zargos Mountain Range in Iran. The flocks are herded during the spring months to the cooler climates of the high mountain plateaus and valleys, where the grass is abundant and rich in minerals. The fleeces grow thick and produce a lustrous wool, fine in texture and when spun, using many natural dyes, which have a high colour saturation.
