KOLAYE LONG RUNNER 495 x 98cm
A striking handwoven Lur Kolaye runner featuring a beautifully refined all-over lattice design set against a soft ivory field. The repeating diamond motifs are highlighted with deep navy, claret red and subtle earthy tones, giving the rug depth, warmth and visual harmony. A rich, dark border frames the runner with intricate geometric detailing, adding definition and balance to the elongated shape.
This elegant piece has a classic Persian feel, with a gently pointed mihrab-style motif at one end and a wonderfully fine pattern that runs the full length, making it ideal for hallways, entrances and long narrow spaces. The natural wool pile gives it a soft, durable finish with a pleasing sheen, while the carefully balanced colour palette ensures it will sit comfortably in both traditional and contemporary interiors.

NATURAL 100% WOOL OR NATURAL FIBRES
All our Persian rugs and carpets are made with 100% wool from sheep or goats belonging to pastoral nomads who inhabit the Zargos Mountain Range in Iran. The flocks are herded during the spring months to the cooler climates of the high mountain plateaus and valleys, where the grass is abundant and rich in minerals. The fleeces grow thick and produce a lustrous wool, fine in texture and when spun, using many natural dyes, which have a high colour saturation.
