This magnificent vintage Persian tribal rug showcases exceptional artistry with a glowing red field densely adorned with intricate geometric and botanical motifs. The impressive scale and masterful hand-knotted construction make this a true statement piece for any substantial living space.
The design features a striking central diamond medallion in rich browns and blacks, surrounded by an elaborate all-over pattern of stylized flowers, hexagons, and tribal symbols in navy, cream, gold, and burnt orange. The complexity and balance demonstrate extraordinary weaving skill.
Multiple complementary borders frame the composition beautifully, each displaying distinct traditional patterns. The outermost border features bold geometric designs and stylized animals, while inner borders showcase delicate floral repeats and classic Persian motifs in deep burgundy and navy tones.

NATURAL 100% WOOL OR NATURAL FIBRES
All our Persian rugs and carpets are made with 100% wool from sheep or goats belonging to pastoral nomads who inhabit the Zargos Mountain Range in Iran. The flocks are herded during the spring months to the cooler climates of the high mountain plateaus and valleys, where the grass is abundant and rich in minerals. The fleeces grow thick and produce a lustrous wool, fine in texture and when spun, using many natural dyes, which have a high colour saturation.
