This LUR Kolaye Jamshid carpet is a striking handwoven piece featuring a bold and expressive tribal design. The deep red and midnight-black field is adorned with a captivating arrangement of stylised tree motifs rising symmetrically from the base, symbolising growth and vitality. At the centre sits a complex medallion design with geometric and floral forms in soft teal, terracotta, and ivory, adding contrast and depth. The border is richly decorated with alternating floral and diamond motifs in shades of red, blue, and beige, perfectly framing the central composition.

NATURAL 100% WOOL OR NATURAL FIBRES
All our Persian rugs and carpets are made with 100% wool from sheep or goats belonging to pastoral nomads who inhabit the Zargos Mountain Range in Iran. The flocks are herded during the spring months to the cooler climates of the high mountain plateaus and valleys, where the grass is abundant and rich in minerals. The fleeces grow thick and produce a lustrous wool, fine in texture and when spun, using many natural dyes, which have a high colour saturation.
