This lovely mongolian persian Borghalu carpet features a striking central medallion surrounded by a richly detailed field of floral motifs, all set against a warm ivory ground that enhances the vibrancy of the colours. The design is filled with elegant blossoms, stylised branches, and intricate foliage in shades of deep red, rose, soft blue, and earthy brown, creating a harmonious yet dynamic composition using many natural dyes. Borghalu carpets are made by the decendants of the mongolian invaders who settled in iran. They are located in the hamadan region

Due to their handcrafted nature, the pattern on our Persian Rugs may show slight imperfections, which are a hallmark of traditional weaving techniques and a sign of its authenticity and craftsmanship.
NATURAL 100% WOOL OR NATURAL FIBRES
All our Persian rugs and carpets are made with 100% wool from sheep or goats belonging to pastoral nomads who inhabit the Zargos Mountain Range in Iran. The flocks are herded during the spring months to the cooler climates of the high mountain plateaus and valleys, where the grass is abundant and rich in minerals. The fleeces grow thick and produce a lustrous wool, fine in texture and when spun, using many natural dyes, which have a high colour saturation.
